Beach Cleans
We love hosting beach cleans and getting out on the coast with all of you lovely lot!
These cleans are about so much more than just picking up plastic. They’re a chance to spend time together, protect the places we love, learn more about the pollution washing up on our beaches, and take small, practical action that really does add up.
Whether you’ve joined us before or you’re coming along for the first time, everyone is welcome. You don’t need any experience, just a bit of time, a love for the ocean, and a willingness to get stuck in.
Together, we’re helping to keep Cornwall’s beaches cleaner, raising awareness about plastic pollution, and building a community of people who care deeply about our coastline.
Did you know?
We’ve partnered with some incredible local organisations to divert as much plastic from landfill as possible:
We donate the hard plastics (bottle tops, crates etc.) to One Blue Eye who recycles these and other difficult-to-recycle plastics into brand new products (these are available on our stall and coming to our website soon!)
We donate the ghost fishing nets we collect during our beach cleans to Waterhaul. They then transform them into new products and litter pickers that we use on future cleans! ♻️🌊
